Our twenty-second call for projects launched on 17 August 2026. Every proposal that fits within the roadmaps of Blue Cluster and meets the conditions for cooperation is eligible for financial support. Do you have a good idea for an innovative project linked to the sea? Submit your proposal.
Preparing a project application
Would you like to learn more about how you can submit a project proposal to Blue Cluster? Check out a visual presentation of the process as well as further information about the modalities of the different project types on our website in the section “project application”.
We highly recommend you to have one of our innovation managers assess your project beforehand. This way, you are 100% certain that your proposal is admissible.
Submitting a project application
Project proposals for R&D projects, ICON projects or pilots are to be submitted to Blue Cluster by the deadline in the form of a 10-pager. Upon approval by the Steering Committee, the 10-pager is to be fleshed out into a full proposal for submission with VLAIO on Thursday10 December 2026.
This project call is not open to new cSBR projects. This means it is not possible to submit proposals for cSBR projects to Blue Cluster within the scope of this call.

The deadline for submitting a project is Thursday 1 October 2026 at 12 noon CET.
