Join the Belgian offshore wind mission to Canada
Canada aims to develop approximately 5 GW of offshore wind capacity off the coast of Nova Scotia by 2030. With a first tender expected in early 2027, opportunities are emerging for companies across the entire offshore wind value chain.
To explore these opportunities first hand, Belgian Offshore Wind, Belgian Offshore Cluster, Agoria Energy Technology Club and De Blauwe Cluster are organising a joint mission to Ottawa from 17 to 19 November 2026. The mission will take place during the Marine Renewables Canada Annual Conference, an important meeting place for developers, suppliers, ports, investors and policymakers active in the sector.
During the mission, you will meet key players in the Canadian offshore wind market, take part in individual B2B meetings and expand your international network.
What’s on the programme?
As a participant, you will:
- gain visibility during the international update panels on Tuesday 17 November;
- take part in individual B2B meetings facilitated by the Canadian organisers;
- meet Canadian and international stakeholders during the networking reception at the Belgian Ambassador's residence on the evening of Tuesday 17 November.
Practical information
Participation in the mission costs €1,000 excluding VAT per participant.
The participation fee includes a conference ticket (value: CAD 1,400), inclusion of your organisation in the promotional material, the organisation of individual B2B meetings and participation in the reception at the Ambassador's residence.
Travel, accommodation and meals are not included.
